MANILA – Here are some of the Halloween events for both kids and adults in Metro Manila and beyond.
CITY OF DREAMS MANILA
Families are in for eerie yet fun family-friendly activities at City of Dreams Manila until November 1.
DreamPlay, the world’s first DreamWorks-inspired interactive play space, is once again holding Spookfest from October 31 to November 1. For P1,499, the Spookfest VIP Package is inclusive of an all-day pass at DreamPlay’s attractions with express check-in and attraction entry as well as passes to DreamWorks’ Halloween movie, pumpkin cookie-making session, and other exciting activities such as “Shrek or Treat” Scavenger Hunt pass, Bean Bag Toss Competition, and “Shrek It Out” costume contest.
An overnight stay at Nobu Hotel Manila with breakfast for two and a “Best in Costume” DreamPlay plaque are at stake for kids who will come in their scariest and most creative Halloween costumes for the “Shrek It Out” costume contest happening on November 1 at 3 p.m.
Meanwhile, The Garage’s VR Zone will hold a “Fright Feast” from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m. on November 1. It challenges thrill-seekers to play the Hospital Escape Room, with the fastest group to be given P2,500 worth of vouchers at City of Dreams Manila’s food and beverage outlets.
CRIMSON HOTEL FILINVEST CITY
This year, Crimson Hotel Filinvest City celebrates Halloween with a festive, colorful and fun-filled “Pirates and Mermaids Halloween Party” on October 31, 2 p.m., at the Crimson Grand Ballroom.
Come aboard the Crimson ship and embark on a sea adventure while having a festive Halloween with fellow “pirates” and “mermaids.” Three Halloween costume contest category awards will be given to deserving winners of Best in Pirate Costume for one girl and one boy, Best in Mermaid Costume for two girls, and Best in Halloween Costume for one girl and one boy.
Ticket for admission is P1,150 net for guests two years old and above. Kids aged one year and below may join the party free of charge.
Each pass includes a heavy snack buffet with free-flowing iced tea, interactive show in the ballroom, costume contest, trick or treat, photo booth, fun games, activities, exciting prizes, and giveaways.
Join in the Halloween fun with your friends featuring Filipino folklore creatures at “Shake, Rattle and Roll: A Diamond Hotel Halloween Event” on October 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Diamond Ballroom and Corniche.
Tickets are priced at P1,000 nett per person inclusive of a take-home snack box of treats and full access to the event activities like trick or treat, arts and crafts booths, and face painting and glitter tattoo stations.
Participants get a chance to win round-trip airline tickets for two to Singapore via Cebu Pacific at the grand raffle.
Diamond Indulgence members are entitled to a P100 discount for a maximum of four tickets.
MARCO POLO ORTIGAS MANILA
Come with friends to play spooky dress-up and party the weekend away as Vu’s Sky Bar and Lounge hosts its annual Halloween bash with the Black Party on October 25, 8 p.m.

Parents and kids are invited to suit up in their favorite space-themed character – from princesses and warriors to droids, legendary gods, and wizards – and celebrate the trick-or-treat season with party master Marvin of Jive MNL and his trove of out-of-this world games and treats.
Fun inflatables, face painting, and an array of munchies and delectables add to this fantastic Halloween experience. The guest with the best costume gets a prize.
Tickets are priced at P1,300 net per person.
SHANGRI-LA AT THE FORT
Shangri-La at the Fort is holding a “Boni the Bull Circus Festival” this October 26 at the hotel’s Adventure Zone.
Exciting attractions await such as an acrobat and magic show, jugglers, balloon twisters, stilt dancers, and a photo booth. Those in their best costume get a chance to win a 1-month complimentary access pass to Adventure Zone and more.
Tickets are at P2,500 for Adventure Zone members and P3,500 for non-members. Each ticket is good for one adult and one child inclusive of loot bags, snacks, and drinks.
